When I attended Christian High, I was the new girl in school. Our high school consisted of about 400 students and many of them have been attending since kindergarten. I’m not going to lie, it was intimidating to jump into such a small intimate school where so many friendships and relationships have been formed and deeply bonded since childhood. Zach was one of the first friends that I made and I was thankful for how easily he welcomed me. We had multiple classes together and he always kept me laughing. At times, it wasn’t a good thing because one time I laughed so hard and we were kicked out of math class… Oops! Zach is a sweet man with a big heart so it only makes since that he found a woman with similar qualities. These two met in college down in Missouri and Zach knew he was hooked once he met Megan. After Zach popped the question, Megan moved down to San Diego where they soon tied the knot. It was a mini high school reunion and I loved being able to reconnect with old friends. I had so much fun photographing this fun couple and I’m thankful that they now reside in my hometown because that gives us the opportunity to bump into one another more often. Congrats Zach and Megan!

I loved the bridesmaid goodie bags that were personally monogrammed. So cute!
First look with her dad. There were some happy tears!
Her eyes! I could photograph them all day!
I loved his white jacket. Looking sharp Zach!
Her father clipped a GoPro to his tie and kept it on throughout the wedding day. That’s a fun idea!
A sweet moment of prayer.
I love this shot of Megan. She looks like a movie star!
These two are so fun!
A backyard reception with their closest family and friends.
I love that they sang to one another during their first dance.
I love that she wore a napkin over her dress… just in case.
A surprise dance to initiate the money dance.
