If this is what the first wedding of the year looks like, I am excited for what’s to come! Last year, I photographed a wedding and the groom insisted that I use his friend as my second shooter. I was hesitant at first, but after I met John, I knew we would work well together. After that wedding, I became friends with John and girlfriend (at the time) Victoria. As our relationships progressed, I was able to photograph the happiest days of their lives. From their proposal, to their engagement, and all the way up to the grand finale, their wedding day! These two are so creative and I loved all the DIY (do it yourself) details that they incorporated throughout their day. They collected hundreds of bottles throughout their engagement and together they soaked, peeled, and decorated them as center pieces. Talk about tedious work! Hundreds of friends and family showed up to celebrate the love of this amazing couple and I’m thankful I was able to be a part of such an emotional, love filled day. Congrats John and Victoria!

The final farewell.
Because John and Victoria had a day wedding, they decided to do their portraits after their reception.
This way, they wouldn’t have to worry about time, guests, and they wanted the best lighting.
As a photographer, these two are an IDEAL wedding couple.
