Happy first day of 2019! I love celebrating the beginning of a new year. I know many don’t believe in resolutions, but I enjoy the idea of starting something fresh and reprioritizing. Every year, I make it a goal to try to be better at showcasing my work. Some weeks, I have 20k photos to sort through so picking one photo to sneak peek gets a little overwhelming. My social media is only a small glimpse of what I capture throughout the year so I will be doing my best in 2019 to blog more!

I decided to kick off 2019 with Jamie and Katy’s wedding. These two are probably one of my favorite couples of ALL TIME! I love when I meet new clients and I know within minutes that we are going to become friends. Jamie and Katy met in High School and they have been together since 2005. Jamie proposed in Mammoth where he has celebrated every single birthday for 30 years. He planned the perfect proposal for 6 months and coordinated 40 of their closest family and friends to be there for the big event. Their engagement is one of my favorite sessions to date. What I love most about Jamie and Katy is their heart for others, how intentional they are, and that their love for life is so pure and genuine. The happy tears from their friends and family were flowing throughout the entire day because everyone was so excited to celebrate these two. You could feel the love that people shared for them. When I shot this wedding, it felt less like work and more like I got the opportunity to spend the entire day with a pair of my close friends. I have so many favorites and they are all posted below.
