Jake and Christy are the type of couple that literally makes you say, “awwwe” out loud when you see them together. Their chemistry is effortless and I love the way they look at one another. Being a part of this wedding day was so much fun because we could not have asked for a better couple to work with. When we arrived for their getting ready process, everyone was so relaxed and truly enjoying all the little moments. The girls surprised Christy with a limo and the boys were having fun by the pier on the beach. When I told Christy it was time for her first look, her eyes filled up with tears. She was so excited to see her groom and when she walked towards Jake it was like no one else existed. After the couple said, “I do” we headed to the famous wedding bowl. It’s a gorgeous area in La Jolla that looks over the ocean. While taking pictures, we saw one couple getting married and then we saw another couple get engaged. We were surrounded by a lot of love! When we headed back to the reception, Jake and Christy were stopped and asked to join the red carpet that was taking place for La Jolla’s International Fashion Film Festival. We were surrounded by creative artists and gorgeous gowns. Jake and Christy quickly became camera favorites when they stepped on the carpet and I felt like paparazzi among the crowd trying to get their attention. It was fun for all of us! We ended the night on the dance floor surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was a perfect wedding day from start to finish and we loved every minute of it. Congrats Jake and Christy!
