Maternity Session: Bobby & Bri | Julian, CA | Analisa Joy Photography | San Diego, CA Photography

I am so excited to share Bobby & Bri’s maternity photos. Bri used to be my family’s personal trainer back when we lived in Coronado. She is the one who made me feel fabulous on my wedding day. She would text me in the mornings and make sure I was warming up on the treadmill at the gym. I’m not a morning person, so I would sleep in my workout outfit the night before so that I could rest just a little longer. I would roll out of bed 10 minutes before our workout and either drive/bike to the gym. I’m thankful that she put up with me all summer.

Bri has a passion for photography so I knew we would have so much fun on her maternity session. When she arrived she told me that she was up for anything and everything. She told me to put her in a tree, in the water, or any place that will make an awesome photo. We started off in some open fields  and ended our session in a freezing lake. I don’t think I’ll ever come back from a session dry or clean. We walked waste deep into the nearby lake and we were freezing, but chanting “for the photo!” Bobby made the best remark about how girls would never walk into a dirty ol’ lake just for fun, but if it created the perfect photo opp then they throw their cares to the wind. After our session, I gave Bri some sneak peeks from the back of my camera. She started hugging me, yelling, and jumping up and down. I love when my clients are as excited for their photos as I am! I had so much fun editing this shoot and I can’t wait to meet their sweet baby girl. She is due on my birthday! Congrats Bobby and Bri!
