Meet Robert and Kellie. They have a son named Bentley, another bun in the oven, two dogs, cats, and horses. They are a busy family, but they would not want it any other way. The morning of our session, the hurricane that hit Cabo blew into San Diego. We were greeted with horizontal rain and hail. We wanted to reschedule our session, but Kellie was due any day now. We couldn’t risk trying to find another date, so we decided to gamble with the weather. When I left my house, I saw seven trees uprooted from the ground, fallen fences, and debris everywhere. Things were not looking bright, but Kellie was determined to squeeze in a maternity session before her due date. Luckily for us, the clouds parted and the sun came out when we all arrived in Julian.
When I first met Bentley, Kellie told me that he was shy, but it only took him a minute to warm up and then he was talking until the sun went down… literally! Bentley is by far one of the cutest little boys I have photographed and his personality matches. Like I said, he was talkative, but he was especially passionate when it came to talking about the rainstorm that we just experienced. I loved when he told me that the weather totally ruined his jacuzzi time because it got him all wet, haha! Bentley loves his two furry best friends named, Zeke and Kevin (named after the bird in Up) and he loves modeling for the camera. I wish all my little ones enjoyed getting their picture taken as much as him! Robert and Kellie have been dating since high school and I love the genuine love they share. I had so much fun with this sweet family and I’m so excited to watch this family continue to grow. Congrats Robert and Kellie!
