Meet the Mahapatra family! They came down from Nebraska and they stayed in La Jolla where it was a beautiful sunny and seventy five kind of week. When we met for our session, we were greeted with clear skies and warm weather. That’s the best! We met at the pier and we started with immediate family photos and we were later joined by extended family. If you have had your pictures taken at the beach or if you’re a photographer, you will notice how common it is to run into a set of families and/or photographers at the beach around sunset. Piers are always a hot spot for photos and everyone does their best to work around one another… or they should! However, on this day, we bumped into a family reunion of 50+ people. We were constantly being photo bombed because children were running in the water, climbing the pier, and people were everywhere! However, this sweet family was all smiles and we calmly worked around it. They were carefree, laughing, and having fun the entire session. Looking at the images below, you would never guess we had families to the left of us, right of us, and behind us.  I’m thankful that I met such a kind group of people.
