I’m back from Boston! I’m so excited to be home and to finally be able to blog recent sessions. All summer long I have been traveling and although I’m exhausted, I’m incredibly thankful for all these fun opportunities. Within the last two months, we have been in Houston, Baltimore, Montana, and Boston. Next month we will be heading up to Nor Cal and then to San Francisco for weddings! In between work, my husband and I packed our house in San Diego and we gradually started moving into our new house up in LA. My clients have been above and beyond and I can’t wait to share their images with you.

I’m incredibly excited to post about the Lyon family. I am so inspired by their faith and their joy for life. Their youngest son Jason was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. Those who experience cancer or have loved ones going through treatments suddenly become very near and dear to my heart. I have never met Jason, but I knew his sister and remember her by her infectious laugh. I attended Jason’s prayer vigile and was moved to tears. I was impressed by his boldness and strength. This entire family share a love like no other, and through it all they are using this time to spread the gospel and praise Jesus. They are a light to many and I felt honored to photograph them.
