“I am a follower or your BEAUTIFUL photography and blog… your photography is the best I’ve seen!”- Chriss
This was my last session of 2014 and I could not have asked for a better family to photograph. I knew from their first email that I was going to love spending the afternoon with them because it was FILLED with excitement and exclamation marks. It’s hard to read tone via email, so I always appreciate a few exclamation and smilies thrown my way. The grandparents recently celebrated their 84th and 75th birthday so the family was looking for the perfect gift. They realized that they have never taken a photo all together so they thought of a photo session with the entire gang. We all know how hard it is to get family in one place at one time, so to find a day that works for everyone is a gift in itself. When I arrived, I was greeted with enthusiasm and happy faces. That doesn’t always happen at family sessions. Usually, it’s the mom who organizes them and drags her family. They always end up having fun, but it takes work to get them there. What I loved most about this family is that everyone was genuinely excited to be with one another! They all adore their significant others which shines in their portraits. My favorite memory from this day was when Chriss (the mom who organized this shoot) kept saying, “this is the best day of my life!” It truly is my mission to bring joy to my clients and have it captured on film. I think we accomplished just that on this session! Enjoy!
We broke into mini family portraits. I loved this sweet family of six!
