“Our (almost) 3 year old daughter is usually quite difficult to get good photos of, but she warmed up to Analisa almost immediately and by the end of our session was walking around holding Analisa’s hand!  Too cute. Analisa was very calm and patient, but also very organized and gave us really good directions which made the photo shoot totally enjoyable. Her pictures speak for themselves, and the ‘work’ to get that end result was fun & I look forward to our next family picture session with Analisa!”

Meet the Boston family! I met this adorable threesome at Coronado beach for their annual family photo session. Their beautiful daughter, Charlie is almost three and she is full of personality. I love when families arrive to their photo shoots and give their children incentives to do a good job. Sometimes it’s a handful of M&M’s, a new toy, or a fun activity after their session. It’s common for children to fall apart mid photo shoot, but when their handful of M&Ms is on the line they quickly get their priorities back in order. Charlie’s incentive was a cherry flavored lollipop. She was on her best behavior and after every picture she would look at me and say, “lollipop?” Her eyes lit up like Christmas morning when she was rewarded with that delicious treat at the end of their session.

Lauren is the beautiful wife and mother of the family and I was fascinated by her job. She is a sleep specialist for children, which means Charlie is a professional sleeper. Lauren enjoys being welcomed into the homes of families and teaching them sleeping tricks for their children and parents are loving the peace and sanity that she brings back into their lives! Jordan is a real estate agent in San Diego and he is also super dad. He comes from a family of photographers and he recently bought a new camera and gear to photograph the miscellaneous moments of Charlie’s life. He took Charlie to La Jolla and while photographing her along the rocks she slipped and fell into the water. Without hesitation he jumped into the ocean with all his clothes and camera gear and scooped her out of the water. When he picked Charlie up she yelled, “let’s do that again.” They were soaked from head to toe and all his new camera gear was ruined, but he received the honor of super dad for rescuing his daughter within only a few seconds of her fall. I’m so thankful to have met this sweet family and I look forward to our sessions to come!
