I had the best time photographing Tony and Allison’s engagement session. They are the sweetest pair with a love story to match. Tony and Allison met through mutual friends, but Allison did not think a relationship would be realistic since they lived 40+ miles apart. However, Tony was persistent and even though she originally gave him the cold shoulder, she finally agreed to meet him half way for a date. One date was all it took because they both agreed that it was the best date that they have ever been on. They started seeing one another exclusively and endured a long distance relationship for a year and half. When seeing one another only the weekends was not longer good enough, Tony decided to move down toward Allison. They became inseparable and loved that they were finally able to enjoy everyday life tasks together.

Last Fall, Allison went on a wedding errand with her sister (who was recently engaged). She thought they were on their way to meet a florist, but they took a detour to Laguna Beach. Tony was there and he revealed to Allison that she wasn’t going to meet a florist. Not catching on, she started to ask questions. That was when Tony decided to get down on one knee and pop the question. Her sister was able to capture the entire moment on video which was filled with pure shock, excitement and happy tears. The surprises didn’t stop there, Tony took her out to lunch and both of their parents were waiting to join in on the celebration. Talk about a perfect day! While photographing these two, it’s clear that they are meant to be. I am so excited for their wedding day. Congrats Tony and Allison!
