Ryan popped the question at a baseball game and Taylor’s gorgeous ring was perfect in every way! I remember seeing their engagement post on social media and I was so excited when she contacted me shortly after. Although we have crossed paths maybe once or twice, Taylor and I seem to know all of the same people. During her wedding consultation, we kept getting sidetracked by how connected we were through our social circles. I love this small world!

When I met with Taylor, she told me she wanted a unique engagement. Multiple settings, whimsical, and romantic. We met at Ryan’s mom’s house who lives in Coronado. Her house should be in a magazine– it’s the cutest! We then headed over to a local stone church, and ended our session at the beach. Taylor put so much effort into their session and it showed. From the beach bike, driving to Carlsbad to buy fresh flowers, bunnies, locations, props, and everything else in between. Ryan and Taylor have been dating since high school. They have an effortless love and affection toward one another. They are goofy, playful, and carefree. My favorite line was when I asked Ryan how he knew he found the one. He jokingly told me that Taylor passed, “the dunk test.” The dunk test is when you take a girl out to the water (swimming, the beach, etc.) and she fully submerges herself under water and comes up looking the same. We were cracking up, but Ryan truly loves Taylor’s natural beauty! I had so much fun with these two and after seeing all the work that Taylor put into their engagement, I can’t wait to see what she is going to do on their wedding day. Congrats Ryan and Taylor!
