2015 was an amazing year for a large handful of my friends. Within my close circle, I have celebrated up to 12 of of them getting engaged… Whoa! I’m so excited for 2016 because I get to witness the marriages of those closest to me. Among the list is my sweet friends Bobby and Addie. Bobby was one of my first friends when I attended my new high school. We had multiple classes together and we instantly clicked. I loved his humor, his gentle giant ways, and his effortless ability to be loved by everyone. When Bobby left to attend Cal Poly, we were so excited when he started gushing about a girl named Addie. These two dated all throughout college and afterwards they endured long distance (and they continue to do so). I love hearing how they make their relationship work and the effort that they put into one another even when they are states apart. Their love and friendship is extremely fun to watch and admire.
It’s always perk when one of your close friends starts to date someone you instantly love. When I met Addie, I felt like I connected with a childhood friend. She has the personality that you can’t help but gravitate towards. She’s filled with sass, style, and creativity. What I love most about Addie is that she always shows up to an event looking like she walked out of a magazine, but she’s a true farm girl at heart. She lives on a ranch and tends to goats, cows, sheep, dogs… you name it! Every summer, she shows their family cow at the fair along with judging goats and llamas. She can drive a tractor, she can help in the field, and she’s an excellent cook. I recently had a baby shower and Addie sewed together the cutest blanket along with some nursery accessories. She’s the jack of all trades! I’m so thankful that these two found one another and I feel honored as their friend and photographer to capture such special moments in their lives. Their proposal was a big hit and featured on multiple blogs. To relive the moment, check it out here! I can’t wait for their wedding day. Congrats Bobby and Addie!
Even though they met in college, Bobby and Addie realized (while dating) that they attended the same preschool out in Pine Valley.
They have childhood pictures at this school with the other in the background. How funny is that? Fate!
Love this!
One of my favorite moments from our session… When Addie fell off the swing, haha!
Afterwards, we headed back to Addie’s ranch! I was in love with their junk yard!
