Meet Austin and Allison. They have been dating since high school and they are tying the knot at the end of this summer. Their proposal is one of my all time favorites! It seriously gives me chills every time they talk about it. Allison has been anxiously waiting for Austin to put a ring on her finger, but she never knew when that perfect moment would come. Then one night, Austin took Allison star gazing. He brought a lantern, blankets, and they sat on the roof of his car looking out at the stars. Just when you think it doesn’t get any more romantic, Austin takes it one step further. Allison recently told Austin that she was looking into buying a new Bible. Towards the end of their stargazing, Austin told Allison that he had a gift for her. It wasn’t a small ring box, so she was confused at first. When she opened it up, she received a new Bible with her name engraved on the front. However, it was not Allison Gunter that graced the cover, it was Allison Jones… Austin’s last name. When she saw that tiny detail, the tears instantly came and Austin got down on one knee and proposed. I was honored when Allison told me that she emailed me three hours after Austin popped the question in hopes that I could photograph their engagement/wedding day. I’m so thankful that I had the dates open because this couple was so much fun to photograph. They are effortlessly in love, they keep the other constantly laughing, and the share such a joyful spirit with one another. I am absolutely in love with their engagement session and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for me on their wedding day. Congrats Austin and Allison!
