You guys… for years I would pride myself in being a blogging master. After every shoot, I had 50+images blogged, uploaded in albums on Facebook, and sneak peeked on every social media platform. However, 2018 has been a whirlwind and it has thrown me off my blogging game. When you throw in pregnancy, two kids, moving almost monthly, and commuting every 4 days to San Diego you  gradually lose the blogging magic. However, this has been one of my favorite years in my photographer business. The sessions and weddings that I have captured have been jaw dropping amazing. Since I just photographed my last session of 2018, I’m going to use the downtime to show off some of my favorite images from this year. 

I’m going to kick it off with one of my favorite engagement sessions. Lindsey has been my second shooter for several years now. Our paths crossed when I was a guest at a wedding and she was second shooting for another photographer. I loved her charisma and I asked if she would ever consider shooting with me. It was instant friendship and I’m thankful for all the talent and love she has brought to my business. I am so lucky (along with my clients) to have her by my side! 

Earlier this year, Lindsey found her dream man. We have captured so many weddings together so the expectation for her perfect partner was set high! When I met Sam, I was relieved that he exceeded all standards. He’s a man of God, he’s incredibly kind, he’s artistic, he’s talented, and he’s hilarious… oh and he’s nice to look at! Sam has the sweetest soul and he makes you feel like you’ve been his friend for years! 

I was living in Pacific Beach for a month (for Trent’s hospital rotation) so I had Lindsey and Sam meet me at my place. I love how we casually walked along the boardwalk taking pictures. We brought boards, skates, and aimlessly explored until we hit the pier. These are my favorite type of shoots… No plans and total free reigns! It was hard to narrow down my favorites, but I’m excited to finally share them with you all. Enjoy!
